Cancellation Announcement

The “International Linkage Degree Program Student Workshop – Technologies for the Future​ -” scheduled on February 28 has been cancelled due to the growing concern over the novel coronavirus.

Hiroshima University hold a student workshop for “Technologies for the Future.” Keynote speakers who are active around the world as social entrepreneurs, will present their stories for extensive discussion for future. The object of this workshop provides students an opportunity to think of explore and appropriate technologies for creating the future and for delivering  technology to last mile.

We hope many students, entrepreneurs and others who are interested in social innovation and technology will join this symposium and obtain fresh inspirations from the talks and discussions towards the future.

Spekers

Satoshi NAGATA (India CSO, SAgri Co., Ltd.)

"Digitization of all farmland in the world to create sustainable agriculture basement" SAgri Co., Ltd. is a Japanese startup that is developing an agriculture application based on satellite tech and supports farmers' microfinance in India. They have won many awards including Japanese entrepreneur awards.

Neha JUNEJA (Co-founder, Greenway Grameen Infra Pvt. Ltd.)

Greenway provide rural consumers with high performance, affordable product based solutions. Greenway smart stove saves many women facing the risk of developing heart disease and lung cancer under the inferior kitchen.

Yuichi KURITA (Pofessor, Hiroshima University)

His interests are not only in robotics but also the human factors since users' sensory and motor capabilities have a large impact on the effectiveness of the interactions with technology. These innovations have applications in a wide range of industries, like in teleoperation system, healthcare, sports, and entertainment.

She is involved in planning and implementing entrepreneurship education programs at Hiroshima University.
